Fly fishing and adventure go hand in hand. Kismet Outfitters has a deep desire to see the world’s most pristine fisheries, beautiful cultures and amazing places through our hosted travel program. Our goal is to make travel as safe, easy and memorable as possible.
If your dream fly fishing trip consists of trophy trout in untouched wilderness, luxurious accommodations, and gourmet farm-to-table cuisine, Las Pampas Lodge, located in the Central Patagonia region of Argentina, needs to be on your radar! Kismet Outfitters is hosting a week at Los Pampas Lodge from March 21st - 28th, 2026, and we would love for you to join us!
Lodge Overview
Las Pampas' European-style log-and-stone lodge overlooks the Andes Mountains and is entirely surrounded by nature, reminding guests that they are truly in the heart of Patagonia.
Throughout the property, it is nearly impossible not to be taken by a view of the Andes. At the lodge, guests find spacious double occupancy rooms with private baths. They can also enjoy the large common room, which features a dining area, bar, and a lounge with a fireplace, bringing everyone together over cocktails.
However, one of the first things Las Pampas guests notice isn't the out-of-place luxuries the lodge offers but rather the legendary Argentine hospitality where the entire team is committed to ensuring each guest has the experience of a lifetime.
Gourmet Farm-To-Table Cuisine

The only thing better than world-class trout fishing is world-class trout fishing paired with world-class food and wine. Las Pampas Lodge is widely regarded as one of the preeminent foodie destinations in the fly fishing destination travel sphere. The staff at Las Pampas are nearly as passionate about food as fly fishing!
The Le Cordon Bleu graduate chef only uses local and organic ingredients, with the cuts of chicken, lamb, and steak coming directly from the livestock on the property. Argentina is widely known for producing some of the best meat in the world, and Las Pampas proudly upholds this legacy.
Breakfast is served at the lodge, and guides serve a gourmet lunch with wine on the water. As is typical in Argentina, dinner is served in the late evening, and with this meal, Las Pampas' head chef delights guests with meat and vegetable entrees paired with fine wines.
The Fishing
While the authentic Argentine farm-to-table experience is noteworthy in itself, it's the legendary trout fishing that has cemented Las Pampas' place in the upper echelons of destination fishing lodges. Las Pampas has private access to 25 miles of freestone rivers, spring creeks, and lakes
that produce truly trophy-sized brook, rainbow, and brown trout. The lack of fishing pressure and the diversity of hatches make Las Pampas one of the premier dry fly fisheries in the world.
Unlike many fly-by-night operations that have high turnover rates with transient, inexperienced guides, the guides at Las Pampas lodge know these waters inside and out. They are Argentines who have spent countless days fishing and guiding the area's spring creeks, lakes, and rivers, and they have unmatched experience that serves anglers every day of the season.
Las Pampas and Kismet Outfitters work directly with a travel agency to book flights, layover hotels in Buenos Aires, and any other trip preparation you might need.
