From travel logistics to lodge selection, we handle the details so you can focus on showing up, fishing hard, and enjoying an unforgettable experience on the water.

Fly fishing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, which is why the word Kismet felt like the natural choice when naming my fly shop and guide service on Martha’s Vineyard. My passion and knowledge have always centered around fly fishing, and building Kismet Outfitters was a path that felt destined from the start.
Born and raised in New England, I grew up fishing the waters of Martha’s Vineyard, where I developed a deep connection to the sport and the fishery that continues to shape everything we do at Kismet. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to guide and fly fish around the world, but it was Martha’s Vineyard’s world-class saltwater fishery that ultimately drew me back home.
Kismet Outfitters was built on that lifelong passion—sharing the knowledge, beauty, and unforgettable experiences that make fly fishing Martha’s Vineyard one of the most unique fisheries anywhere in the world.

Casting Lessons
Everyone can benefit from a casting lesson, no matter if you have been fishing you whole life or just started. Casting lessons are a great way to learn the basics of the fly cast, brush off the cobwebs or get rid of bad habits. With a better cast you can spend more time catching fish.
We offer one or two hour private lessons and also group lessons. All equipment is included.
