Fly Reels

Fly reels have traditionally been seen as line holders in the trout-oriented sphere. Reels with massive drags are overkill for most trout fly fishing scenarios. Saltwater fly fishing is the complete opposite.

As a saltwater fly fishing-oriented outfitter, we need our reels to stand up to the abuses of salt and the hard-charging species we target. Subduing fish like false albacore requires a reel with a powerful drag, a large arbor, and ample backing capacity.

We have tested and abused fly reels from leading manufacturers Hatch, Hardy, Sage, Abel, Cheeky, and Seigler. Rest assured, the reels we carry are cut out for the most demanding saltwater fly situations you will encounter.
